We pride ourselves on being able to tailor and shape the lesson for our students. Whether you want an intense practice session focused on motorway driving, one that will teach all aspects of safe road use in any conditions (including dark or snow), it’s possible with us!
What to expect from your lesson
Whether it’s your first driving lesson or if you have had many, we keep a very open mind and will help you learn in the way that best suits you.
In your first lesson, we will cover the basics like what all the controls do, how the clutch works, and we will talk about how to pull away and stop safely. Then, we will find a quiet location where you can practice this until you are comfortable. Then, if you feel you’re up to it, we can do a few laps of some quiet streets and build up your confidence from there.
Once you get more confident, we will start to add in more complex scenarios – But always at a pace at which you are comfortable. Likewise, If you want to focus on a particular area of your driving, we can tailor and change the lesson to suit what you want to achieve. As long as it is safe to do so, we can let you be in complete control of what your learning experience is.

Become an Approved Driving Instructor
The first step to becoming a driving instructor is meeting the minimum requirements. These include: age, experience and criminal records history as well as certain health conditions which may prevent you from joining ADI’s register of instructors or obtaining enhanced DBS checks. You will also need to apply for an enhanced BDS check before you apply to join the ADI register. More info on this can be found here: –https://www.gov.uk/criminal-record-check-become-driving-instructor
Once you are happy you meet the requirements, we can get to work with getting you trained up to the level you need to become a fully qualified UK Approved Driving Instructor (ADI).
We offer a full package which includes 42hrs of online training, along with a minimum of 40hrs of in-car training (can be more if you would like or need) We supply you with everything you need to become an ADI including online training videos, reading materials, the most up to date highway code and the driving instructor’s handbook.
